"Colonialism: Erasure of National and Religious Identity"
Today, a press conference was held ahead of the international conference "Colonialism: Erasure of National and Religious Identity" organized by the Baku Initiative Group. Experts and leaders from independence movements across French and Dutch colonies, including Wallis and Futuna, as well as representatives of International Front of Decolonization gathered to discuss the ongoing impacts of colonial rules.
The press conference highlighted the ongoing struggle for freedom and justice in Kanaky and other colonies. Highly appreciation of Azerbaijan's global role on decolonization process to this end. Special focus on the family members of political prisoners from Kanaky and the call for their immediate release.
